I think this is Tyler's best album, simply because it seems to be his most ambitious one yet, while also being as polished as Flowerboy and Igor. If anyone is trying to get into Tyler's music, this is a great place to start since despite adding new sounds to his inventory, he holds his roots almost as if he has learned something from every album he put out. Tyler's more poignant lyrics from his previous two records can also be found, however this album feels way more self-indulgent and falls back on bragging and an array of other consumerist based/trivial topics often found in the tired genre, leading to a number of cringe-y lines that really take away from the music and the whole experience. There is also WAY too much DJ Drama on this record. There are moments I really love, but they can be short and then replaced by drawn out monotone beats. It is undeniably Tyler, and really caters to all fans of his diverse career - but focus seems to be lacking. Musically the album is all over the place.
